Hundreds of people have signed up to participate in Outdoor Buddies, a Colorado based organization that provides outdoor opportunities for people with mobility impairments.

Outdoor Buddies is funded entirely by donations and grants from groups and individuals.

Today, Outdoor Buddies hosts a variety of outdoor activities -- hunting, fishing, archery, shooting, camping, outdoor survival and wildlife photography. There are no dues or fees for the activities.

Other than fishing and hunting license fees, some transportation costs and personal expenses, the program is free.

Many generous landowners allow Outdoor Buddies groups to hunt or fish on their property at no charge. Many landowners and volunteers throughout the state participate in the program, making it possible for Outdoor Buddies participants to venture all across Colorado in search the outdoor adventure experience!
